Activists of the Volunteer Center «People In» became participants of the inclusive shift of the International Volunteer Camp — 2022

The International Volunteer Camp — 2022 was held in Vyborg. The N. A. Ostrovsky State Museum — Cultural Center «Integration» became a partner of the inclusive shift.

During the week, from September 3 to 9, volunteers from different regions of Russia managed to feel like restorers, attend several excursions and, most importantly, gain skills in inclusive work at interactive workshops and lectures. The shift participants learned how to make the cultural space accessible to different people.

Within the framework of the program, the volunteers were addressed by experts in the field of inclusion, who told about the basic principles of building comfortable communication with people with disabilities and about the implementation of interesting socio-cultural projects and programs in cultural sphere .

The pleasant end of the shift was the performance with closed eyes «It all started with a shower curtain» from the project «Concert in the dark».

After the shift, the volunteers returned to their regions and now apply new knowledge to implement the most daring inclusive ideas.

The international volunteer camp was developed within the framework of the flagship events of the program «Volunteers of Culture», the national project «Culture» and the federal project «Creative People». The camp is organized by the Federal State Budgetary Cultural Institution «Center for Cultural Strategies and Project Management».
