From November 12 to November 14, 2025, residents and guests of Veliky Novgorod for the first time will be able to get acquainted with the interactive project «It's easy to communicate. The main thing is to start communicating!» with the support of the Presidential Grants Foundation. This is a step towards creating an environment where everyone feels heard and understood.

The inclusive project team talks in simple and accessible language about the specifics of communication and interaction with people with disabilities. These are not boring lectures, but live practice! Participants become active actors, immersing themselves in real communication scenarios. The project helps social workers and volunteers to master inclusive competencies and feel how to create a comfortable environment for everyone. Participation in the project is free of charge — by pre-registration, the number of places is limited!

What will the project do?

• Practical skills in interacting with people with disabilities.
• Understanding the principles of the Accessible Environment program and their practical application.
• Increased empathy and confidence in communication.

The project program consists of three modules:

• Module of darkness: skills of interaction with people with visual disabilities.
• The module of silence: skills of interacting with people with hearing disabilities.
• The module of action: skills of interacting with people with musculoskeletal disorders, including those who use wheelchairs or assistive devices.

Each participant will receive practical recommendations for communication and organization of events accessible to all, as well as an electronic certificate.
