For the first time in Kolomna, the team of the Moscow project «Concert in the dark. Inclusion 2.0», with the support of the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives, will present three unique programs that will allow you to «see» music in absolute darkness

«A concert in the dark. Inclusion 2.0» is the only such project in Russia, created by the Moscow creative team of the Autonomous Non—profit organization Center of Socio-Cultural Programs «People IN». The concerts take place in unusual conditions — in a specially equipped space in absolute darkness. The unusual environment helps not just to hear, but to «see» the music. People with disabilities are active participants in the project in various roles, such as guides, volunteers, performers, project managers, and sound engineers. The main task set by the organizers is to break down the barriers between blind and sighted people.

The project has already won the hearts of viewers in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Tula and Podolsk, and now it will be presented for the first time in Kolomna. The partner is the Palace of Culture «Teplovozostroitel».

Three concerts will be held in Kolomna in April 2025:

  • April 25, 19:00 — «Dreams of love» — diving into the most romantic season to the melodies of romances. Registration

  • April 26, 14:00 — «Spring. Love. Victory!» is the story of a Great Victory, told in the yellowed letters of two loving people. Registration

  • April 26, 19:00 — «I want to go back to childhood» — a journey into the world, thanks to which we became ourselves. Registration

Address: Kolomna, Oktyabrskaya Revolutsii str., 324 (Palace of Culture «Teplovozostroitel»).

The first concerts were held in 2024 in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Tula. In total, they were visited by more than 1,000 people.

The project actively involves people with disabilities, creating conditions for their creative realization. It gives the audience the opportunity to switch the roles of «sighted-blind» and «look» at the familiar world from a completely different perspective. In 2025, unusual events will be held in six Russian cities: Odintsovo, Podolsk, Kolomna, Penza, Novgorod and Ryazan.

This year, the project was supported by: the All-Russian Society for the Disabled, the Public Association «Union of All-Russian and leading organizations of the disabled AbiArt», the All-Russian public movement «Cultural Volunteers», and the executive authorities of the Moscow region.

The autonomous non—profit organization Center for Socio-Cultural Programs «People IN» is the organizer of the project.

The State Budgetary Cultural Institution of the City of Moscow, the N. A. Ostrovsky State Museum and Cultural Center «Integration», is the copyright holder of the project.
