The Moscow City Organization of the All-Russian Society of the Blind (MGO VOS), with the financial support of the Department of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the City of Moscow (DTSZN), is implementing a program to identify the potential and build competencies of people with visual disabilities to solve socially significant problems in the city «Act without barriers!» 2024.
As part of the Program, participants formed teams and developed projects aimed at improving the quality of life for people with visual disabilities.
On April 21, 2024, the Diana Gurtskaya Center of Social Integration in Moscow hosted a competition of projects, which was attended by 6 teams. The participants presented their projects to the expert commission.
The expert commission consists of:
Alexey Alexandrovich Volodin, Chairman of the commission — Deputy head of the DTSZN of Moscow;
Natalia Evgenyevna Protasova, Deputy Head of the Department of Social Integration of Persons with Disabilitieshead of the Department of the implementation of programs of the DTSZN of Moscow;
Olga Sergeevna Kudryavtseva, expert in the field of grant applications;
Alexander Nikolaevich Moshkovsky — Chairman of the MGO VOS;
Anton Viktorovich Fedotov, Deputy General Director of the KSR VOS;
Natalia Valerievna Pogosyan, Deputy Director of General Issues and methodological work of the GMCC «Integration» named after
assessed the work of the teams, noted the most relevant and interesting projects and, ultimately, identified four teams that this year will implement their projects under the program «Act without Barriers!» 2024.
The first place was taken by the team «Malinka» of Daria Dorokhina with the project «Compass», aimed at creating conditions for spatial adaptation of people with visual disabilities on the territory of GBU «RC for the Visually Impaired».
The second place went to Andrey Bazyuk’s team with the project «"Growth Impulse», aimed at helping visually impaired people to get to know and master social entrepreneurship.
The third place was taken by Tatyana Belova’s Team with the project «Personal Interface», created to help blind specialists competently present themselves and their services in the Internet.
The fourth place and the audience award were awarded to the team of Tsyndyma Boyko with the project «Playing Together», aimed at creating and adapting educational games with children for blind parents.
