Activists of the volunteer center «People IN» were awarded with letters of thanks and memorable gifts

On January 14, activists of the Partnership Volunteer Center «People IN» gathered at the Nikolai Ostrovsky Museum, created by the Сenter of Socio—Cultural Programs «People IN» in partnership with the Nikolai Ostrovsky State Museum to support projects, programs, and events for the socio-cultural integration of people with disabilities implemented by institutions and public organizations in the field of culture.

The guests became participants of the «Games in the Dark» project and took a tour of the exhibition «The Best City on Earth». The activists of the volunteer center were awarded with letters of thanks and memorable gifts for their great contribution to the development of volunteerism.

During the buffet, which was held to live music from a participant of the inclusive project «Concert in the dark. Inclusion» activists were able to get to know the museum’s friends, get new connections and take part in a quiz and win certificates for inclusive events.

Since the opening of the partner volunteer center at the end of 2021, more than 360 good deeds have been realized. That’s almost 5,000 volunteer hours.
