Within the framework of the international exhibition and forum «Russia», a meeting with the coach of «People IN» Alexander Pokhilko took place at VDNH

Alexander, an artist, athlete and motivational coach and a member of the inclusive team «People IN», told about his formation, the transition from iconography to painting, participation in theatrical productions and filming, advertising, working with children in boarding schools and much more.

An exhibition of Alexander’s paintings was held at the Tretyakov Gallery when he was 14 years old, he participated in TV shows, authored an autobiography book, conquered Kilimanjaro three times, and actively works in the field of inclusion.

The event was held in the pavilion «Our Culture» with the support of the N. A. Ostrovsky State Museum-Cultural Center «Integration». The director of the museum, Igor Dumenko, acted as the moderator.

The meeting was organized by the Ministry of Culture of Russia and the Center for Cultural Strategies and Project Management (ROSKULTPROEKT) within the framework of the program «Volunteers of culture» of the national project «Culture».

The Volunteer Center «People IN» actively cooperates with the program «Volunteers of culture», which pays great attention to working with people with limited health opportunities.

As part of the program, in 2023, the I. V. International Volunteer Camp was held in Perm, the participants of which were activists of the volunteer center «People IN». One of the five thematic shifts was devoted to volunteerism in the field of inclusion. It was in this shift that Alexander Pokhilko took part as an honorary guest.
