The inclusive team «People IN» took part in the VI shift of the International Volunteer Camp — 2023, dedicated to one of the most important areas of volunteerism — inclusive volunteering!
The International Volunteer Camp 2023 was developed as part of the flagship events of the program «Volunteers of Culture», the national project «Culture» and the federal project «Creative People». The camp is organized by the Federal State Budgetary Cultural Institution «Center for Cultural Strategies and Project Management». This year the camp shifts took place in Perm, in 2023 the city turned 300 years old.
Within the framework of the MVL, the trainers of «People IN» conducted a socio-cultural program, which consisted of two practice-oriented seminars on interaction with people with hearing, vision and musculoskeletal disorders! A separate block that was remembered by the participants of the shift was a meeting with Alexander Pokhilko and his motivational training «Faces of People IN», as well as a concert in the dark.
The volunteers also got acquainted with the basics of the restoration of book monuments and took part in the restoration of the cultural heritage site of regional significance — «Meshkov House».
As a result of the shift, the participants learned about the basic principles of building comfortable communication with people with disabilities and about the implementation of interesting socio-cultural projects and programs in the field of culture and have now returned to their regions to embody the boldest inclusive ideas.
